In creating VSBT, NorthStudio has pioneered a one-of-a-kind PCTIA* Registered School. We are a Microsoft Certified Partner, an Adobe Authorized Certified Partner and Training Centre, and an Official MOS (Microsoft Testing Centre) Testing Centre. We cater to businesses looking to train or retrain their staff, government clients, and students wanting to enter the IT industry with style, confidence and job-ready skills.
Adhering to our philosophy “Experience is Education” or more accurately "Our Experience is your Education" we have developed one-of-a-kind Diploma and Certification Programs and Courses.
We are not just a regular IT and Business School. Our instructors are senior designers, developers and certified instructors (Adobe and Microsoft) who have years of experience working at North Studio. They are some of the best in their fields, and they all currently work in the industry.
We have pioneered incredibly small class sizes and put the practical and hands-on approach back into learning. All our training is 100% instructor led. We design our courses and programs in great detail, and take each student's strengths and goals into account for the best possible individual training results. All Courses / Programs

- We provide:
- a complete list of courses / programs including standard costs;
- classes scheduled to meet your needs;
- maximum of 12 students;
- only one student needed to run a course ;
- course curricula follow standard outlines;
- date/time re-scheduling is normally not available;
- Most courses are broken up into either 3, 4.5, or 6 hour sessionss.

What's the Difference?
- Basic: Hobbyist and Home Enthusiast - 9 hours ($550.00 + GST) -
Our basic course provides the hobbyist or home computer enthusiast with the tools they need to use various software programs (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks, etc.) for their own personal use. NOTE: Because of the extraordinary complexity of many of these software programs, a complete working knowledge of a particular application may or may not be achieved, depending on the amount of time spent in the classroom, and also the student's willingness to practice at home between classes (i.e. homework). - Professional Career Oriented Training - 18 Hours ($950.00 + GST)-
Our professional course is a career-oriented program which focusses on giving you the tools you need to best use your existing software’s full capabilities. We will teach you cutting-edge techniques you can use in your current work place or when applying for work with potential employers. You will learn how to use the latest software programs and focus on specific applications for media such as the web / internet, print, TV, movies and others. If you want to get a working knowledge of -- and be able to apply your skills in -- the real world of internet and software technology, or to carve out a new career for yourself, the professional version of our courses is for you.
Scheduled Courses/Programs:
VSBT offers regularly scheduled programs throughout the year. These vary in length and intensity. Some are held five days a week over a period of 3 to six months, or the same course can be broken down into shorter evening classes two or three times a week, depending on what works best for you. Some of the features of our regular scheduled programs are:

We teach all of our Certification and Diploma Program components separately, and offer many other courses in groups, following standard or customized curricula. We also offer one-on-one tutoring with industry professionals to teach you a specific software program at your own pace, using class materials directly related to your goals and/or projects.
We care about our clients and our community and offer job shadowing and Co-op terms to University students who want to learn in a real-world environment. We also provide free web sites and consulting to non-profit organizations across Canada and the US.
