Introduction to 3D Animation

Throughout this course you will learn how to produce 3D animation with 3D Studio Max. You will learn valuable resources & interesting plug-ins and have a lot of fun.

Create things like spinning planets, flying text, speeding cars, laser beams, exploding robots and anything else you can imagine!

Materials:

  • Maps: Importing, Editing, Opacity, Bump, Tile, Cropping

  • Materials: Shaders, Smoke, Gradient, Noise, Multi/Sub-Object,Ray Trace.

3D Modeling:

  • Geometry: Editing Tools, Standard & Extended Primitives, 3ds studio max
    Compound Objects, Importing 3DS Mesh.
  • Shapes: Editing Spline, Text.
  • Modifiers, Modifier Stack, Sub-Object Selection Level, Lathe, Extrude, Mesh Smooth.
  • Particle Systems , P-Cloud and Super Spray,

Rendering:

  • Cameras: Free Target & Tracking, Tracking.
  • Special Effects: Video Post, Explosions, Motion Blur, Space Warps.
  • Lighting & Shadows : Omni, Spot & Target Lights, Attenuation, Projection, Map/ Ray Traced Shadows.
  • Environment: Background, Atmosphere.

Animation:

  • Key Framing & Interpolation: Motion Panel, Track View, Links & Schematic View.
  • Sound: Importing, Editing & Syncing.
  • Path Controllers
  • Dynamics Simulation
  • Storyboarding
  • Character Animation, Lip Sync, Character Studio.
